Saturday the 28th March 2026 heralded the joyous occasion of Paul and Adriana's wedding held at Heaven's View, McGregor; an absolutely beautiful setting for a beautiful wedding.  We thank the Lord for His blessing upon Paul and Adriana and we know that God will continue with them in their walk together.

Early December 2025 heralded the arrival of the YWAM young folk; 11 of them in total.  What a joy to be able to host, feed and fellowship together with them.  They were truly a tonic to us here in Langebaan.  Heaven will record the blessing that they were and we trust they left us feeling refreshed and strengthened to continue their outreach endeavours in South Africa and beyond.

EXTRACT FROM THE YWAM NEWSLETTER

This week we were in Langebaan, a two-hour drive from Cape Town. Our contact there was a local church 'Langebaan christian fellowship' that provided us with accommodation in three different houses.
It was so nice to have different hosts. They were incredibly hospitable and made sure we lacked nothing.  The hosts provided us with amazing food, a tour through the town and many ministry opportunitues. It was such a blessing to get to know these people better and to share life with them. They are truly an example of how a church welcomes strangers, an example of how Jesus calls us to care for one another.
We honestly could not have wished for anything better.
Before coming here, we knew we would be running a daycare for five mornings, but beyond that we had no idea what to expect. Once in Langebaan, it became clear that God is at work in this town. In several conversations, people told us they truly felt that God had sent us, which was so encouraging. We had the opportunity to encourage people and to share the love of Jesus. In addition, Langebaan is a great spot for kitesurfing. The water is flat, which makes it easier, and everyone on the team had breakthrough sessions and can now stand on the board for longer periods of time. Jesse and John — who is now part of our outreach until sometime in January and is a super fun guy — organized a downwinder, where kitesurfers ride with the wind from one location to another. It was so cool to organize our first real event for the kiters.

Our very first LCF Family Camp at Dunn's Castle, Picketberg, held on the  11th, 12th and 13th of April 2025 and attended by some 54 of us (children included). It was a very precious time of fellowship, getting to know one another a little more and most important, the challenging ministry from the book of Ephesians. 

God's intention and eternal purpose with the church (us believers) is stated in the central verses of Eph 3:10 & 11 "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord".  We are branches in the True Vine - enabled to bring forth much fruit.  We are fully equiped with Gift Ministries to perfect the saints.  We have been given gifts by the Holy Spirit to build up the Body of Christ.  All to enable us, by the effectual working of every member of the Body, to MAKE KNOWN this manifold wisdom of God.  Are you thus fully engaged in your part?

We were also blessed with provision for "the natural man" in the abundance of very tasty food!  All round it was a very special weekend leaving lasting memories: something which we trust the Lord to be able to do again next year, should the Lord spare us and tarry.  If there was one regret - it was that not everyone could attend due to other commitments.  We trust that going forward more folk will be free to come.

A few of us celebrated Peggy's 93rd birthday with her on Wednesday the 8th January 2025.  It was a precious time spent with a special sister in Christ.  May God uphold you by His grace.  The Good Shepherd of the sheep keep you safely in His fold.
